3 ingredient PeanutButter Cups (GF & DF)
*Makes 24 small peanut butter cups
Ingredients
1 bag (12 oz) of semi sweet chocolate chips (df & gf)
1 cup organic peanut butter
3 T. Pure maple Syrup
Directions
Line a mini muffin pan with mini cupcake liners.
Melt 6 oz chocolate chips (1/2 bag) in a microwave safe bowl for 2-3 minutes. Stirring every minute until chocolate is melted & smooth.
Spoon chocolate in each muffin insert using a teaspoon (this is for the bottom layer of the peanut butter cup). Spread out the chocolate evenly using a small spatula or spoon. Set muffin pan in the fridge until chocolate is hardened.
In a small bowl, mix together peanut butter & maple syrup using a spoon. Using about a teaspoon, drop the peanut butter mix on top of the hardened chocolate in each muffin insert. Flatten out the peanut butter with your finger.
Melt the remainder of the chocolate, & using a 1/2-1 teaspoon, spoon the rest of the chocolate on top of each peanut butter cup.
Sprinkle with course sea salt or Himalayan salt.
Set in the fridge so they can harden. Store in the fridge!
