Nutritious “Wendys” Shake
1 frozen banana
1/2 T. cacao powder (or cocoa)
1/2 t. vanilla extract
1 T. raw almond butter
1 serving of vegan chocolate protein powder (I use cleansimpleeats.com vegan chocolate protein powder)
Splash of almond milk
Handful of ice
Blend the FROZEN banana,cacao powder (unsweetened cocoa powder if you want it sweeter), vanilla, almond butter, protein powder, and a SPLASH of almond milk in a blender. Only add a splash so you can get a thick consistency! You’ll have to work with the mixture using a spatula, stirring & blending on and off. Add an extra “splash” of milk if needed. Once the mixture is blended, add a small handful of ice and blend. Enjoy this nutritious, thick, and yummy shake!
