Nutritious “Wendys” Shake


  • 1 frozen banana

  • 1/2 T. cacao powder (or cocoa)

  • 1/2 t. vanilla extract

  • 1 T. raw almond butter

  • 1 serving of vegan chocolate protein powder (I use cleansimpleeats.com vegan chocolate protein powder)

  • Splash of almond milk

  • Handful of ice


Blend the FROZEN banana,cacao powder (unsweetened cocoa powder if you want it sweeter), vanilla, almond butter, protein powder, and a SPLASH of almond milk in a blender. Only add a splash so you can get a thick consistency! You’ll have to work with the mixture using a spatula, stirring & blending on and off. Add an extra “splash” of milk if needed. Once the mixture is blended, add a small handful of ice and blend. Enjoy this nutritious, thick, and yummy shake!
